About

Proyecto Viviana is a set of web apps made for communities. Each one grows out of a specific group of people — a fandom's forums, the map of a park's food stands, the classroom of a course — and is built for that group, not for an anonymous audience.

What guides us

  • AccessibleEvery app is free for its community and built to work on any device, for anyone.
  • InteractiveThey aren't pages you look at: they're places where you post, vote, edit, and talk.
  • Community-drivenThey're made and kept alive by the people who use them.

They all share one identity. You sign in once and you're in all of them, with no new account in each place; the community recognizes you from one app to the next.

It's built from Montevideo, Uruguay — slowly and by hand, on the conviction that the web can still be many small places of your own instead of a few enormous ones that aren't.
